English Language Functional Skills
An English Language Functional Skills is something that we recommend for students. The English Functional Skills Level 2 exam is equivalent to a grade 4, or C, in their GCSE English, so is a great alternative to the traditional GCSE. Functional Skills English Level 2 is split up into 3 exams: Reading, Writing, and Speaking, Listening & Communicating (SLC). The reading exam is the closest thing to the traditional English Language component seen at GCSE. The Functional Skills English qualification seems to be a preferred choice for many adults, since there is generally less content to learn, and exams can be sat all year round, from the comfort of your own home, through our recommended service Pass Functional Skills.
