It offers the flexibility for students to sit their functional skills exam whenever they feel ready to. You will then receive your exam results within 10 working days from sitting your exam, so the short turnaround time makes it more appealing to students.Â

What is included in level 2 maths?
The functional skills maths Level 2 curriculum is split up into 3 sections: Using Numbers, Common Measures, Shape & Space and Handling Information & Data. There is very little algebra in functional skills maths level 2. The exam is split up into a shorter non-calculator section and a longer calculator section.
